Ampa continues share buyback program, increases treasury stake to 17.64%
Income-generating real estate firm Ampa Ltd. is continuing to execute its share buyback program. The company reported an additional purchase on the stock exchange, increasing its treasury shares and signaling the ongoing implementation of its outlined strategy.
Ampa purchased its own shares for approximately ₪67.5 thousand as part of a buyback program approved in August. Following the transaction, the company now holds 53.995 million treasury shares, representing 17.64% of its issued share capital.
Income-generating real estate company Ampa Ltd. is continuing to implement its share buyback program, according to a filing submitted today (Tuesday) to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). The filing shows that the company purchased additional shares of its own stock, a move that reduces the number of shares available for trading and reflects management's ongoing strategy to return value to shareholders.
According to the details of the filing, on September 29, 2026, Ampa executed an on-exchange purchase of 4,979 shares at a price of ₪13.56 per share. The total transaction volume amounted to ₪67,515.24. This purchase joins previous acquisitions made by the company under the buyback program, which it first reported on August 27, 2026.
Following the latest transaction, the number of treasury shares held by Ampa increased from 53,990,056 to 53,995,035 shares. These shares, held by the company itself, now account for 17.64% of the company's total issued and paid-up share capital, which stands at 306,134,000 shares. It is important to note that treasury shares do not confer voting rights or capital rights, meaning the actual number of shares granting these rights is smaller, standing at 252,138,965 shares.
The company stated in the filing that the purchase was executed in accordance with the approved buyback program and that, as of the filing date, the cumulative execution rate of the program stands at 2.74%. This figure indicates that the company is still in the early stages of implementing the program and is expected to make further purchases going forward, subject to market conditions and management decisions. Share buyback initiatives are frequently perceived in the capital market as a signal from management that it believes the share price is below its economic value, and they serve as a way to increase earnings per share (EPS) by reducing the number of shares in the market.
