Gilad May completes ₪55 million bond repayment

Real estate company Gilad May has fully repaid its Series B bonds. The move delists the series from trading and reduces the company's debt, which now has only one remaining bond series.

Real estate firm Gilad May announced the final and full repayment of its Series B bonds. As part of the move, executed on September 30, ₪55 million was transferred to bondholders, bringing the series balance to zero. The company now has one remaining bond series (Series C) totaling approximately ₪85.4 million.

Real estate company Gilad May Investment Building and Development Ltd. announced the completion of the final and full repayment of its Series B bonds. The move, executed on September 30, 2026, included a total payment transfer of ₪55 million to bondholders, completely removing the series from the company's liabilities.

According to the company's filing with the TASE (Reference: 2026-01-089289), the balance of the bonds (Series B, Security No. 1189877) was reduced to zero, after standing at ₪55,000,000 par value prior to the repayment. This move constitutes the company's full compliance with its obligations to investors in this series.

As a result of the repayment, Gilad May's debt structure becomes simpler and its leverage ratio decreases. Prior to the move, the company's total debt to bondholders stood at approximately ₪140.4 million, consisting of two series. Now, following the delisting of Series B, the company is left with only one debt series traded on the exchange – bonds (Series C), numbered 1226018. The balance of Series C stands at ₪85,414,000 par value, and it is unaffected by the current repayment.

Gilad May, which operates in residential initiation and construction in Israel, demonstrates through this debt repayment the ability to generate sufficient cash flow from its operations to meet its financial obligations. In the real estate sector, which is characterized by high leverage and the need for significant capital to finance projects, debt reduction is considered a sign of financial strength and stability.

The completion of the repayment removes Series B from the company's list of securities traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. For investors and the capital market, the move clarifies the company's liability picture and reduces its debt exposure. Now, debt holders' attention will focus exclusively on the performance and terms of the remaining Series C.
