SaverOne receives US patent for automatic calibration and maintenance technology

As the company expands the deployment of its safety systems in commercial vehicle fleets, a new US patent will allow it to maintain system accuracy and provide remote maintenance, a critical step for large-scale operations.

Technology company SaverOne has received a new US patent (its 17th) for a system enabling automatic calibration and maintenance of its vehicle safety units. The technology is designed to ensure system accuracy over time and enable efficient remote service, particularly in large fleet deployments.

Technology company SaverOne, traded on Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (SVRE), announced the receipt of a new patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent, granted on September 22, 2026, relates to technology enabling automatic calibration and maintenance of the company's safety system, which is designed to prevent driver distraction caused by mobile phone use while driving.

According to the company's report, the new patent (US 12,742,850 B2) allows the Phone Location Unit (PLU) to independently identify when calibration or maintenance is required and which specific action must be taken. This capability, based on sensor fusion, is particularly critical as the company expands the deployment of its systems in large commercial vehicle fleets. It enables maintaining system accuracy over the vehicle's lifetime and providing efficient remote service, thereby reducing the need for physical handling.

Uri Gilboa, CEO of SaverOne, noted in the company's announcement: "As our systems are deployed in larger commercial vehicle fleets, maintaining the accuracy of each unit over the vehicle's lifetime becomes increasingly important. This technology enables our phone location unit to identify when it needs calibration or maintenance... and supports our efficient remote service at a large scale."

This patent is the 17th approved for the company, and it joins an intellectual property portfolio that now includes a total of 23 patents (of which 6 are still under examination). SaverOne's patents cover key markets, including the US, Europe, Israel, China, and the UK, supporting the company's global expansion strategy.

SaverOne specializes in the development of radio frequency (RF)-based solutions for the transportation safety, homeland security, and defense markets. Its first product line is designed to prevent traffic accidents caused by driver distraction. At the same time, the company is developing solutions for detecting pedestrians and other vulnerable road users in limited visibility conditions. Earlier this year, the company expanded the potential applications of its RF technology to security and critical infrastructure fields as well, through a strategic transaction with VisionWave Holdings.
